Community Services Boards
A Community Services Board, also known as a Behavioral Health Authority in some communities (CSB/BHA), is a local provider of supports to individuals with mental health challenges, substance use disorders and intellectual disability (ID) and/or developmental disability (DD). CSBs/BHAs provide support coordination/case management for individuals who wish to transition from an institution to the community with Community Living (CL), the Family and Individual Support (FIS), and the Building Independence (BI) Waivers.

Mental Health Related Prevention Programs
Programs that attempt to reduce the incidence of specific types of mental health issues such as problem gambling, suicidal feelings, sexual addiction, shopping addiction or cluttering through a variety of educational interventions in situations where prevention is a realistic option. The programs help people understand the nature of the problem, the impact of the issue on the lives of individuals and families, the risk factors and warning signs, and sources of treatment and support that are available in the community.
