Nursing Home, Brookneal

Heritage Hall at Brookneal provides 24 hour nursing coverage. Capacity is 60 beds.  Heritage Hall has registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and trained geriatric nursing assistants. Personnel are trained and prepared for emergencies. Each resident's medical care is supervised by the attending physician who makes routine visits to the home. In the event of an emergency, a physician is on call at all times.  Alzheimer's care, hospice care, and advanced medical care, as well as rehabilitation therapy are available.



Heritage Hall has a complete emergency medical pharmacy and is serviced by a licensed pharmacist who is on call 24 hours a day to dispense any medication the attending physician may order.



Total care must include not only the body, but the heart, mind, and soul, as well. Activities staff, plan frequent events that correspond with seasons, current events, and resident's suggestions. In addition, daily and weekly activities are held that include church services, arts & craft classes, socials and meals.
