The Light Up Loudoun Volunteer Program offers a variety of in-house opportunities that provide support and assistance to the Area Agency on Aging (AAA) programs and services. It also includes assignments at local hospitals, libraries, museums, parks, and thrift shops. Regardless of your age, we have an opportunity awaiting you! Whatever your reason for getting involved with your community, you will be excited to know that our volunteer program offers:
Sample opportunities include activity leader; home-delivered meal driver; information help desk; long-term care ombudsman; Medicare Advisor; museum docent; office organization; park attendant; pet therapy; Special Olympics; tax preparer, thrift shop assistant and more.
