The ALS resource support group is an essential tool in helping patients, families and caregivers live with ALS. Led by professionals, group members share their personal experiences and their knowledge of the disease. They learn they are not alone nor without help or hope. These group meetings are free, open to patients and concerned others regardless of where treated, and designed to share information as well as strategies for preserving independence and quality of life for ALS patients and caregivers. These groups will occasionally offer speakers on relevant topics.
The group currently meets on the 1st Tuesday of each month from 7PM-9PM at the Greenbriar Library, 1214 Volvo Parkway in Chesapeake Va 23320. Contact Tremetris Davis for more information at 1-866-348-3257 or by email TDavis@ALSinfo.org
