Who We Are

Virginia Beach Community Services Board's Child and Youth Case Management assists children and adolescents from ages five through 21, who are still enrolled in a primary or secondary educational setting. Staff facilitates consumer access to medical, social, educational and other services. Services include assessing the youth and family's needs, planning services and linking them to community supports in order to meet their goals. Case Management helps youth and their family to locate, develop or obtain services, resources and public benefits. The Case Manager assures the coordination of services and service planning with other providers and human service agencies and systems, such as the public school system and local health and human services departments.
