Outpatient Clinical Services

Goochland-Powhatan Community Services Clinical Services offers outpatient mental health treatment to children, adolescents, adults and families in Goochland and Powhatan counties. Services include assessment, individual, group and family counseling, psychiatric and nursing services, and case management.



Services include

• Outpatient Treatment – Assessment, followed by individual, family therapy or group sessions
• Case management –Treatment planning, linking with needed resources, monitoring of adjunctive services, and coordination of care.
• Medication Therapy – Psychiatric Evaluation by a Psychiatrist or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and Psychotherapeutic medications as deemed necessary.
• Integrated Treatment for Co-occurring Disorders – Treatment for mental health issues complicated by substance abuse or dependence.
