Who We Are
Andromeda offers Project Orion, a medical mobile outreach clinic. The goals of Project Orion are to provide free medical services and referrals to underprivileged areas of the District of Columbia. The target populations include African Americans, Hispanics and other racial minorities who are alcohol or substance abusers.
Provides educational information and materials; offers free HIV pre and post test counseling, as well as free HIV screening tests.
Other services available on the Mobile Unit are care for sinusitis, sports injuries, etc; blood pressure screenings; glucose screening.
