Who We Are

There are many ways to volunteer at the Rescue Mission Ministries.  Call for information or visit the website which lists the volunteers needed for the year.  Servers for breakfast, lunch are always needed, as well as help at the 2nd Helpings Shop, gallery and cafe retail shop.  Volunteers help paint apartments in the Women and Children's Center, drive and transport, mailing brochures, outside cleaning and maintenance, prepare table favors, help customers select clothing, read bedtime stories and much more.

A combination of staff, program participants, and volunteers are involved in operating the kitchen and dining area and in other areas.  Mending Wings Adult Learning Center, open to anyone in the Recovery Program, is an individualized, learner-centered, which depends on a dedicated staff of volunteers to provide these services.   It operates daily from 8:30 AM until 11:00 PM.
