Who We Are
FXBGO! provides public transit services in the City of Fredericksburg and the counties of Spotsylvania and Stafford. FXBGO! operates a modern fleet of 30 buses, all of which are wheelchair lift-equipped. FXBGO! offers 3 types of services.
- Basic weekday service.
- Basic weekday service in the city and three counties;
- Weekday morning and afternoon and evening Virginia Railway Express feeder bus service in the City and Spotsylvania County and VDOT commuter shuttle in North Stafford County; and Thursday and Friday late-night service and Saturday and Sunday service, known as Eagle Express, centered on the University of Mary Washington during the academic year (late August through mid-May).
FXBGO! will deviate from its regular routes by up to 3/4 miles and up to two minutes to make special pick-ups and drop-offs. You must call us 24 hours in advance to schedule this special service.
All vehicles are equipped with wheel-chair lifts. Drivers will make bus stop announcements regularly. Drivers are trained in passenger assistance, defensive driving, CPR, and wheelchair-securing procedures.
