Foothills Area Mobility System (FAMS) One Call Center

The Foothills Area Mobility System (FAMS) One Call Center provides residents of Culpeper, Orange, Madison, Fauquier, and Rappahannock counties with information about available transportation options. A Transportation Solutions Specialist provides information and referral on all public, private, and volunteer transportation options. The Call Center offers opportunities to volunteers who want to provide transportation services.  



In addition, the Transportation Solution Specialist can provide travel training, trip planning, and bus schedules to assist passengers using public transportation for the first time. Anyone is eligible to use this free service.



The Foothills Area Mobility System (FAMS) is a collaborative partnership between the Rappahannock-Rapidan Regional Commission, Aging Together, which represents dozens of human service organizations in the region, Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board (RRCSB), Virginia Regional Transit (VRT), and other non-profit and human service agencies that have worked together and shared information to document existing services and to identify unmet needs.
